DriveWise Driving Simulators

Our famous DriveWise Driving Simulators are in EACH of our classrooms.  We also have the DriveWise Trailer which enables us to bring simultion training directly to your location!  All skills taught in our classroom are reinforced in our Driving Simulator and then again when the go in a car with a DriveWise instuctor!

Why Training with Simulation Makes Sense?

1. The Aerospace industry swears by it…they will not allow  pilots to fly an Aircraft without training on a training on a flight flying Simulator FIRST…!!!

2. We simply can’t teach Winter Driving Techniques in the Summer without a Simulator…even in the Yukon…!!!

3. Fog, Rain, High Winds (especially on the Skyway Bridge) are best experienced on the simulator first…practice does make perfect…!!!

4. No matter how hard we try…we can’t predict when a DEER might jump in front of the vehicle adding some excitement to the in-vehicle lesson – but on the simulator, it’s guaranteed to happen more then once…!!!

5. Tire-Blowouts on the highway going 100km/hr are definitely BETTER taught on the simulator then experienced in real life…!!!

6. Having students text message friends, drink bottles of water, or talk on their cell phones are all better taught on the simulator then if we had them trying it out while actually navigating through the streets of Downtown Oakville, where there are already enough distractions happening…!!!

7. The only place to try out driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol is on a Simulator…while wearing our Fatal Vision Goggles students will drive with impaired vision…then we can instantly replay the impaired drive and show students how their vehicle handling abilities decrease dramatically…teaching a valuable lesson not taught anywhere else…!!!
